I'm a father to a boy named Jackson, husband to G, and a principal at the design firm MM in San Francisco. Thanks for stopping by.

Mac Motorcycles

Mac motorcycles is a British company with an amazing lineup up bikes.  Just 4 in their line, but damn they are sweet.

Last Day Dream

Totally amazing.

Days With My Father

A simple moving site about a photographer's last days with his dad.  I haven't seen a lot of sites like this. Very moving.

Sam Weber

Impressive body of work from Alaskan / Canadian illustrator Sam Weber.  He currently lives in Brooklyn and does work for an impressive array of clients.

Quake Quiz SF

Well for all us here in San Francisco, I think this well designed site is mandatory.

Bulthaup Kitchen Spaces

Hopefully one day I will be able to afford some fine German cabinetry like these from Bulthaup.

Fucking Hell (the movie)

Take Hieronymus Bosch, the epic mass grave scene from Platoon, thousands of toy soldiers, and some serious commentary on War and Religion and you get the movie
Fucking Hell
.

This is pretty intense (as plastic soldiers go) so only watch this if you are up to it.

Natrón 2009

Got back from Cabo not too long ago.  Buddy of mine had a bachelor party down there.  Here's some of the pics.

Basking Shark. Jesus.

This is real by the way, and definitely worth the read.

Gottfried Helnwein

Saw a great art show last night by master painter Gottfried Helnwein.  If you are in San Francisco I highly recommend seeing this exhibit.  It is rare nowadays to see such masterful oil painting.  These images look like photographs but are entirely Oil and Acrylic.

Showing at the Modernism Gallery on Market Street.  And you can see more of Helnwein's work at his website.

Flicker Mood 2.0

This is truly kickass.  Thanks to posterous friend Font72 for digging this up.  And make sure you go over to mynamewasgod.com and qu-int.com to learn more about the creators behind this piece.

Really well done.

Hauschka - Morgenrot

I am a big fan of Hauschka's music, and this film which I think is made from archival photography is a nice marriage of music and film.
